We invite the PhD students to the summer school on
"Optimization-based Control Systems: Theory & Applications"
organized by the Horizon Europe project FrontSeat on September 9-13,
2024 in Pisa, Italy. The 5-day summer school will include lectures by
renowned speakers, hands-on practical sessions, and a social program. The event is organized by the University of Pisa. There are no
registration fees. The registration form and current information are
available on the event page here.
We are co-authors of a new article in the prestigious international scientific journal, Journal of Process Control. The paper presents a new approach to the optimal control of dynamic systems described by partial-differential equations. The paper is a partial result of the collaboration of our institute with Université Mouloud Mammeri in Tizi-Ouzou, Algeria and Lorraine University in Nancy, France.

On the 1st of March, the FrontSeat Industry Council for Cybernetics met at the third "Academia Meets Industry" seminar at STUBA’s Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava. Read more in our new blog.
On
Thursday, 15th of February, Dr. Radoslav Paulen led a short course on
Exact and Approximate Set-based Parameter Estimation for Nonlinear
Systems within the winter school on Modelling, Estimation, and Control
using Set-Based Methods: Theory and Applications (Set4MOST). The winter
school was organized at Lille Centrale jointly by Dr. Sara Ifqir
(Centrale Lille, France), Prof. Andreas Rauh (Carl von
Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, Germany), and Dr. Simon Rohou (ENSTA
Bretagne, France). Read more at: https://centralelille.fr/
Check out the new interview with Assoc. Prof. Martin Klaučo (IAM) in .týždeň (in Slovak).
On February 5-6, we organized an annual meeting of IAM in Kocovce.
Public-oriented site "Veda na Dosah" ("Science Within Reach") published a separate article (in Slovak) about the efficient handling of renewable energy by integrating a solar panel into the framework of smart greenhouse VESNA.
