We are authors of a new article in the prestigious international scientific journal Computers & Chemical Engineering:
The paper presents a novel Partial Explicit MPC design method. The publisher Elsevier provides open access to new research articles for 50 days to help share the current results.
On Friday, December 3, 2021, Dr. Peter Bakaráč successfully defended his PhD thesis: "Model Predictive Control for Systems with Fast Dynamics" supervised by Assoc. Prof. Michal Kvasnica. Congratulations!
On September 10, we co-organised the fourth online workshop on "Embedded Optimal Control" together with our colleagues from RUB Bochum, Germany. Our aim was to share the latest scientific results and discuss the opportunities to push forward the perspective ideas.
We are co-authors of a new article in the prestigious international scientific journal Computers & Chemical Engineering:
The paper presents a new technique for the robust design of optimal experiments on nonlinear systems. The paper is a partial result of the collaboration of our institute with Technische Universität Dortmund. The publisher Elsevier provides open access to new research articles for 50 days to help sharing the current results.
PhD student from IAM Ing. Martin Mojto participated in a workshop on Big & BioData Analysis and Processing (BiBiDAP) on 29.07.2021. This workshop was intended for data analysis and processing using various mathematical and statistical methods. Martin Mojto presented the topic of data-based inferential sensor design for the petrochemical industry.
We are the authors of a new research paper in a top-tier international scientific journal Computers & Chemical Engineering. Publisher Elsevier provides open access to new research articles for 50 days to help share the scientific results. The paper summarizes methods for the data treatment and design of the inferential sensors. These methods are applied in two industrial case studies. This work is conducted in cooperation with our industrial partner Slovnaft, a.s.
The students who defended the outstanding master thesis were awarded at FCHPT, STU in Bratislava. Among them, IAM students Martin Bachorík, Samuel Hrstka, and Lucia Míková were awarded. Congratulations!
ACTEMIUM awarded the outstanding diploma thesis entitled "Design and Development of a Human-operated Remote Robotic Manipulator" elaborated by Diana Dzurková. Congratulations!
On Tuesday (June, 22) IAM students: Martina Bujdáková, Martin Meliška, Tímea Mészárosová, Monika Špaková, Tomáš Turčan, Patrik Valábek, and Jozef Vargan, have successfully defended their bachelor theses. Congratulations!
