    Open access to our new research article

    We are coauthors of a new paper in the prestigious international scientific journal Journal of Process Control:

    Raphael Dyrska - Michaela Horváthová - Peter Bakaráč - Martin Mönnigmann - Juraj Oravec: Heat exchanger control using model predictive control with constraint removal

    The publisher Elsevier provides open access to new research articles for 50 days to help share the current results. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon under grant no. 101079342 (Fostering Opportunities Towards Slovak Excellence in Advanced Control for Smart Industries).

    On the 28th of February, in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of STU in Bratislava, the first "Academia Meets Industry" seminar took place. This seminar is a part of the project FrontSeat. "Academia Meets Industry" seminars are activities aimed to stimulate discussion between academia and industry managers and practitioners. We believe in the need for the industry to play an active role in this discussion to help to shape the academic research agenda that would reflect their pressing and emerging issues.
