- Assesment methods:
- Student teams implement own Business plan during the semester. They regularly present and evaluate partial results of their work. The sum of points for all presentations is 30. Students will successfully pass the presentations if they earn at least 16 points. At the end of the semester teams present their complete Business projects. The maximum number of points is 20. Students will pass the advocacy successfully if they earn at least 10 points. Students will get credits for the course if they successfully pass presentations during the semester and the final advocacy. Students are graded as follows: A 46-50 points, B 41-45 points, C 36-40, D 31-35 points, E 26-30 points.
- Learning outcomes of the course unit:
- Students will acquire practical skills in business through joining a college education program Povolanie Podnikateľ (in cooperation with Junior Achievement SR n.o.). Students joining this program will simulate the activity of a joint stock company, work under simulated legislative, but realistic economic conditions. Their purpose is to assess their own financial resources of shareholders and try out all aspects of business activity in practice. A part of this project is a possibility of consultation of managers.
