Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Summary and extension of high school knowledge - the student repeats the types of chemical formulas, definition and determination of oxidation number and its use in nomenclature and redox reactions. They will expand their knowledge of the nomenclature of simple, more complex inorganic and coordination compounds. They will learn to write non-redox and redox chemical reactions in both state and particle form. They will repeat the methods of expressing the amount of chemicals, the composition of solutions, will supplement the knowledge of preparation, dilution of solutions and crystallization. They will learn to use the extent of chemical reaction and will be able to solve various stoichiometric calculations.
