Title: Many valued logics in decision making

Number: VEGA 1/0374/08

Period: 1.1.2008-31.12.2010

Principal investigator: Doc. RNDr. Michal Šabo, CSc.

Scientific co-workers:

Doc. RNDr. Vladimír Baláž, CSc., Doc. RNDr. Štefan Varga, CSc., RNDr. Ivan Garaj, CSc., RNDR. Ľubomíra Horanská, PhD, Ing. Štefan Babinec, PhD, Prof. Ing. Vladimír Kvasnička, DrSc.

Goals:

  1. Explanation of structure of dominance on some classes of operators.
  2. Structure and limits of information transfer in fuzzy inference processes.
  3. Clarifying of cognitive background of logical laws.
  4. Fuzzy regression models - new possibilities.
  5. Solution of the problem of I-convergence. (I - ideal).

Keywords: Aggregation functions, copulas, fuzzy regression, genetic algorithms, neural networks, machine intelligence.

Anotation: Fuzzy modelling, multicriteria decision making, utilisation of neural network, prediction of time series, fuzzy regression models are important parts of many valued inference processes. Applications of the results of this project can be expected in many valued inference modelling, fuzzy analysis, topology, chemical technology, energetic, informatics etc.
