The project focuses on digital transformation of industrial method of use of residual plastics from the production process and their conversion into high-value reusable products. Its key element is implementation of advanced digital technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, which optimise different phases of a company’s production process, improve efficiency, increase final product quality and cut production costs. Machine learning algorithms enable continuous improvement of the characteristics of current technological processes, which take into account the variability of input materials and physical process conditions (pressure, temperature, etc.) and improve the quality of resulting products, which will, in addition to the other benefits mentioned above, bring repeatability and standardisation of the final product in set quality. This approach not only ensures the best use of residual raw materials but also minimises waste, contributing, among other things, to environmental sustainability and moving towards the circular economy concept. By linking modern technological solutions with the circular economy and by moving this industry towards a more efficient, sustainable and intelligent materials processing, the project supports
digital transformation of the economy.
