Objectives, project description, background, proposed research
Project is based on already existing cooperation in automation and
process control betwen the partners. We study applicability of recent
polynomial techniques and LMI (linear matrix inequalities) developed
at LAAS-CNRS to solve various problems of control proposed by project
partners:
- robust control - CVUT (CZ)
- control of chaotic systems - UTIA (CZ)
- predictive control - STUBA (SK)
- nonlinear control - IMPE (RU)
On one side, this permits to enlarge the field of applications of
proposed polynomial techniques. On the other side, the partners will
benefit of last developments on theory and implementation of
optimisation techniques.
