Uvádzame niekoľko konkrétnych príkladov toho, ako sa koncepty z oblasti viacrozmerného riadenia dajú uplatniť v chemickom priemysle. Všetky príklady využívajú „základné“ koncepty, ako je kaskádové riadenie, pomerové riadenie, predbežné riadenie atď. Ďalej rozoberáme niektoré aspekty ladenia PID regulátora, ktoré sa v učebniciach často nespomínajú.

Krister Forsman got his PhD from Linköping University, on the topic of constructive commutative algebra in nonlinear systems analysis. He worked for ABB between 1994 and 2003, mainly with paper machine control. In 2005 he was employed as process control specialist by Perstorp Specialty Chemicals, and since 2012 he is also adjunct professor in process control at Chemical Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
