Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The aim of subject is to prepare students creatively and effectively employ computing technique to solve and present engineering problems in MS Excel environment. Special attention is devoted to problems in the chemical engineering field. They are able to solve basic problems, manipulate with data, present data, to write research text. They are able to solve systems of linear and non linear equations.

Basics of writing research texts
Presentations documents in PowerPoint
Preparing tables and spreadsheets
Graph generating
Trend lines in measured data
Work with macros
Solving of systems linear and nonlinear equations
Solving of material and energy balances in Excel
