Practical execution of all laboratory exercises and test.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Provide advanced work using laboratory analytical techniques, basics of proper implementation of the analytical operations, good laboratory practice. Know the principles of creation of analytic signal measuring instruments and principles of optimization of various modes of measurement. Control instrumental analytical procedures for obtaining information and procedures evaluation of measurement results.
1.Basic principles work in the analytical laboratory . Working with measures of weight and
volume. Preparation of solutions. Titration technique.
2.Optical methods - the absorption methods of determination by the addition of standard and
nephelometric / turbidimetric methods of determination by the calibration line, the emission
spectrum methods. Identification of organic substances on the basis of a comprehensive
interpretation of spectra NMR, MS,IR.
3.Electroanalytical methods - voltammetry as analytical technique, study electrochemical
processes and potentiometric titration of acid mixtures. Derivative and Granov transform of
the titration curves. Polarography and biampermetrická titration, precise preparation of
the buffer solutions and pH measurement.
4.Chromatography techniques - liquid chromatography and gas chromatography in
quantitative analysis, the internal standard method and preconcentrate treatment techniques
of the samples, SPE. Liquid and gas chromatography as an identification method.
