Sofiia Serhiienko is a PhD student at the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology of the Slovak University of Technology (FCFT) in Bratislava, where she is based at the Institute of Information Engineering, Automation, and Mathematics in the study program of Smart Process Control. Her research focuses on robust model predictive control and the development of approaches that enhance its computational efficiency, such as set inner-approximation methods. The aim of her work is to reduce the computational demands of tube-based MPC and to facilitate its practical implementation in real-world systems.
