    Dr. Radoslav Paulen recognized as a valuable reviewer

    The science is not excellent on its own. It is a must that the members of the scientific community devote their time (usually voluntarily) to judge on the scientific outcomes of their colleagues. This way the presented methods and results are greatly improved. Dr Radoslav Paulen was recognized for his reviewing work by a renowned international journal Optimal Control Applications and Methods (OCAM).

    Rector of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava Professor Miroslav Fikar handed over decrees of appointment to five new Associate Professors. Among them, Dr Juraj Oravec is a new Associate Professor at IAM. Congratulations!

    On Friday, December 6, 2019, the Dean of the FCFT Prof. Ing. Anton Gatial awarded the outstanding bachelor, master, and PhD students for their academic achievements, scientific contributions, and other activities for the benefit of our faculty.     Open access to our new research article

    We are co-authors of a new article in the prestigious international scientific journal Journal of Process Control (IFAC). The paper presents a new technique for the design of optimal experiments on nonlinear systems. The paper is a partial result of the collaboration of our institute with Technische Universität Dortmund. It represents an extended version of our contribution from the previous Wortd Congress of International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC), where it was selected among the best in the domain of chemical process control.
    The publisher Elsevier provides open access to new research articles for 50 days to help share the current results:

    IAM at SVK 2019

    Members of our institute organised 21st Students' Scientific Conference "Chemistry and technologies for Life" held at our faculty. We had an international attendance from Poland and the Czech Republic. 12 participants presented their projects and the committee awarded the best.
