Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Students know advanced theory of automatic control, are able to design feedback control of discrete-time processes in state and input-output representations. Students understand discrete-time and optimal control (calculus of variations, PMP, dynamic programming) and are able to design optimal controller and Kalman filter.

1. Discrete-time control (allowance 14/21)

2. Optimal Control (allowance 12/18)
 
a. Optimisation and optimal control
Calculus of variations
Pontryagin's principle of minimum
