Conveniently located in Shanghai Pudong Science and Technology Park of CAS in Zhangjiang InnoPark (Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park), ShanghaiTech is in the vicinity of several national research institutes and large scientific facilities, such as CAS Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, National Center for Protein Science - Shanghai, New Drug Research Platform of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Shanghai Engineering Center for Microsatellites, Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility, and close to industries and venture funds within the Zhangjiang InnoPark, see ShanghaiTech homepage.
How to go from Pudong Airport to Parkyard Hotel:
- take metro line 2 from the airport to "Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park" [trip approximately 30min; costs around 7 RMB, credit cards should also be accepted---at the airport it's easy to get around with English];
- walk 200m to west to Bibo Road and then 150m south; then you are standing in front of Parkyard hotel---you can't really miss it;
- if you prefer to take a taxi: make sure that you line up at the official taxi stand on the ground floor of the airport.
How to go from Parkyard Hotel to ShanghaiTech University:
We will organize taxi services on Monday (July, 23) morning meeting at 8:15am in the lobby of Parkyard Hotel. The workshop will take place on Zhangjiang Campus, SIST Building, Room 1A-200. The workshop starts at 8:30am (see program).
