USING OF STRUTS FRAMEWORK FOR MODEL-VIEW-CONTROLLER DESIGN

MOTL, Z.; OLIVA, P.

Abstract

This article describes a Struts framework for a Model-View-Controller (MVC). There is illustrated a principle of the MVC design pattern. A core of the Struts framework is a flexible control layer which is based on standard technologies as Java Servlets, Java Beans, Resource Bundles and XML, as well as various Jakarta Commons packages. Struts encourage of application architectures are based on a model approach and a variation of the classic Model-View-Controller (MVC) design paradigm.
