UNCERTAINTY OF MEASURENMENT OF GLOBE TEMPERATURE

HRUŠKA, F.

Abstract

Problem statement: Globe temperature is measured in black spherical thermometer or in globe thermometer. It is a mix of air temperature and medium radiant temperature. It is not direct used to determination of indices of thermal flow between the human and environment. The measurement is influenced some uncertainty in measurement. The all uncertainty was analyzed according to physical lows and a simulation in MATLAB-FEMLAB. Main Results – Contribution: Measurement of globe temperature has the great uncertainty. It is not allowed to need the parameter of globe temperature to evaluation of thermal comfort indices according to standards and to real practice. The results of analyze give data with concrete influences. Keywords: globe thermometer, measurement, housing environment, medium radiant temperature, globe temperature, thermal comfort.
