ENTROPICALLY AVERAGED MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF THE REDUCTION SUSPENSION PROCESS IN THE FUNCTIONING SEWAGE-TREATMENT PLANT

MASIUK, S.; RAKOCZY, R.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present application of the informational and statistical identification technique for practical problems of the reduction suspension process in the functioning sewage-treatment plant. The results of experimental investigations were elaborated by using the operator of averaging of sets for each time cross-sections of stochastic processes and represented in form of the histograms. The shapes of these histograms are similar and may be described in the form of normal distribution for suspension concentration in raw and treated sewage. Analytical description has been based on the informational characteristic defined by using Shannon`s entropy. Based on the varied values of dispersion may be appointed the maximal values of informational entropy for the normal distribution. The maximal entropy was presented in form of discrete stochastic function depending on the time for raw and treated sewage. To statistical average of the values of entropy may be executed by using the correlation function estimator. Based on the transfer function and using MatlabŪ software the dynamical characteristic is obtained.
