DESIGN OF EVAPORATION TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM

POKORNY, P.; VAŠEK, V.

Abstract

Chromium scraps are generated in the course of chromium hide production. From the ecological and economic point of view, the enzymatic hydrolysis offers an optimal way how to process and liquidate those scraps efficiently. The mentioned technology has been invented and worked out by prof. Kolomazník, who is a staff member of our Institute. His contribution was awarded with the Rolex Award for Enterprise. The technology for chromium waste hide scraps was so successful that it has been bought and introduced industrially by TANEX Hrádek nad Nisou. They process about 3 tons of chromated hide scraps daily nowadays. The enzymatic hydrolysis process is composed from three parts. The first chemical reaction proceeds in the bioreactor (fermentor) and its product is filtered during a controlled procedure and then dehydrated in vacuum evaporator. We are creating the regulating systems in our laboratory conditions for the all three processes. In this paper there are described problems of the temperature control in the technology process evaporation. When is the water evaporated, the parameters of controlled system are changed. We are created the regulating system with the help of pole placement, adaptive and robust control in our laboratory conditions.
