DIGITAL SELF-TUNING CONTROLLERS: ALGORITHMS, IMPLEMENTATION AND APPLICATIONS

BOBÁL, V.; BÖHM, J.; FESSL, J.; MACHÁČEK, J.

Abstract

The purpose of this contribution is to inform the academic, scientific and technical communities about publication of the monograph [1]. In comparison with the Czech version [2] the monograph was significantly modified. The particular chapters were appended by solved examples and listings of control and identification algorithms in the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. At the end of each chapter are formulated Problems. Design of digital PID like controllers and controllers based on algebraic approach is supported by Self – tuning Controllers Simulink Library [3], Linear Quadratic Toolbox supports design of controllers based on minimization of quadratic criterions. In the monograph, there are also a number of simulation examples verifying these controllers. The monograph also contains an application part with examples of real – time implementation of self tuning controllers both in laboratory conditions and industrial practice. References 1.
