ROBUST DISCRETE-TIME SYSTEMS CONTROL: COMPARISON OF LMI METHODS

Abstract

Several LMI based methods for robust control of linear uncertain discrete-time system using static output feedback are analysed and compared. The included methods are based on the sufficient robust stability condition including quadratic performance index. Both quadratic stability and parameter dependent Lyapunov function based approach is considered. A convexifying (linearizing) function is used to transform the nonconvex static output feedback problem into LMI framework.
